Late March dump

It's been so nice returning to this lovely weather, back to what I love doing, sharing yoga practice, event/collabs, connecting with friends, new friends and communities; guiding people to come back home to themselves, to relax, regulate their nervous system and feel present.

Since being back, it has made me realise how much I scattered myself and how I intentionally want to try to run Goh Yoga and work more sustainably, where I'm not all steam ahead and then burn out. Where there is space for me to be me. It has been so nice to feel returning home in such a joyful way (rather than holiday blues). Giving myself the same spaces and nourishment I did while away, here in Manchester.

🌸 I have found, nature walks (since it been so nice) so nourishing
🌸Exploring new spaces - adventure
🌸Blocking out periods of time where I am off screen, not attending to work type tasks - need faff time
🌸Reconnecting back to the hobbies and things, lovely souls that bring joy to my life 🥰
🌸 I have noticed that I struggle to be still or to do nothing, reconneting back to crocheting has been ammmazing! It give me the space off screen, and I can rest while doing something (so then I'm not restless to do work stuff)
🌸Being more conscious about balance instead of extremes. Reflecting on; me - social time, moving on the go - chill time, work -life, where am I spending my energy & time)
🌸 To support Dan with lent, I chose to make sure my meals are made from scratch - which made me plan my food better and I feel much better energywise without eating processed, oven food or eating out too much (however I still ate out for events, birthdays and bakes and chocolate 🙃 balance 🤷‍♀️)

It's been so nice returning to this lovely weather, back to what I love doing, sharing yoga practice, event/collabs, connecting with friends, new friends and communities; guiding people to come back home to themselves, to relax, regulate their nervous system and feel present.

While I love warmer weather e.g Summer. I really love this time of year, the beginning of Spring!

It is a time of newness, fresh air, bird singing, lighter days, opening windows to cleanse stagnant air (guilt free and not letting the heat out), beautiful blossoms and life awakening again after winters slumber. (Also boring but exciting, that washing can dry outside and quickly 🤣)

Nature around us lightens and comes alive. I feel it to in myself too 🥰 feeling the lightness, shedding, letting go so i create space for newness, begining a new cycle, reflection of how I want to see my year grow, drawn to movement and creation! (Getting back into my creative hobbies- crochet and it's sooo fun)

Happy International Women's Day!! Celebrating all Women, Feminine Energy, The Feminine ♀️✨️☯️🎉💜🥰

Especially honouring the women in my life who have guided me to be the woman I am today 💜 My Por Por (grandma), my mum, my sisters, Yee Yee @alicia.koo @lalkitherapy @soulfulblisslife 💜

I had such a strong resonance with 'Female Buddha' while we were travelling. While I don't follow any religion in particular, (but was often around buddhist rituals growing up) I am a spiritually curious.

You see so many temples in Thailand, literally a temple every other corner and I never got old of seeing the gold and red glistening in the sun!

My friend recommended a visit the female Buddha, and I marked it on Google maps. I knew it was close by to the forest cafe I wanted to see.

Wooooaaah 😦 I didn't expect to see female buddha while we were driving up to the cafe. In awe, captivated by Female Buddha's radiant, peacefully empowering presence. In awe, it felt like a very spiritual experience.

A few days later, while sitting on the beach, I was thinking about that instant connection and spoke to @lalkitherpy about it, who called her Kwan Yin. Down a google rabbit hole, I realised she was 'kwun yam' the jade pendant I wear around my neck.

Guan Yin aka Kwun Yam aka Kwan Yin is the Goddess of mercy who was also the diety at the temple Wat Huay Pla Kang. Which, whose mantra I loved learning while in yoga training - "Om Mani Padme Hum" . And Guan Yin is the physical embodiment of compassion.

Woah 🤯 one of those full circle epiphanies. #happyinternationalwomensday

🥰💜 Such a peaceful stay, surrounded by nature, sung to sleep by the lullabies of forest soundscape. I would soooo recommend this family run treehouse stay up in Chiang Mai! Treehouses were sooo amazingly built and Pinn was the best, sorting everything out for us and recommended nearby things to see ! 💜🙏 @chiangmai_treehouse

This flow practice is themed on the element of water. We will be focusing on movement with breath, going at your own rhythm and pace of breathing. As we connect to Sacral chakra through flow, movement, and focusing in on the hips; I invite you to find ease in your movement, flow with your breath, space in your hips and connect to the element of water. Decided to go for a wintery walk and it was so serene in the snowy sunshine 🌞 ❄️ 🥰

🤣For once I enjoyed being cold. It felt fresh, still, peaceful.

It inspired thoughts about alignment, which I feel this year of 2025 will offer.

The paths of least resistance
The paths of most resistance (and unaware of how hard we push ourselves, how much we are struggling, until we burn out)

The paths most trodden, most explored
The unbeaten paths, least explored.

Whatever path we take, I am reminded that we choose. Even if it doesn't feel like it at times. I am reminded that I HAVE CHOICE.

I am very much looking forward to an adventurous path this year too, it has been ages since I packed my backpack and got lost in the flow of travelling.

Going with the flow, faff, tuning into myself and everything feeling new.This is what I love about travelling and often forget when I'm stuck in routine and structure (which is also needed)
